This outdoor fly trap will catch up to 20,000 flies! It is a non-toxic and eco-friendly trap manufactured in the UK that restricts breeding and future fly generations. The trapped flies will die within a day, and the bait lure lasts up to 12 weeks - longer than any other fly product we have tested!

This fly trap has been designed to control and effectively manage problematic Muscid and Calliphoridae flys in outdoor locations. The formulated bait has been optimised for also attracting houseflies, bluebottle and greenbottle flies. The placement of traps around gardens, patios and horse paddocks will significantly reduce the local population as around 85% of files caught will be female egg-laying.  

The fly trap bait is non-toxic and pesticide-free; it is safe to be used around animals. We recommend placing the bag out of the reach of animals, so they don't mistakenly consume the outer carrier bag. This trap will not attract other flying insects. 

Setup of this outdoor fly trap is a breeze with 5 simple steps:

1. Unpack and remove the blacktop from the dish
2. Unfold the bag 
3. Straighten out the mesh cone, ensuring the apex is open
4. Add 500ml of lukewarm water to the bait mixture, shake for a few seconds
5. Clip the blacktop onto the dish and then hang the fly trap in a suitable position. 

Once the fly trap has become full, cut the plastic bag, drain it into a compost heap, and dispose of the pack in a rubbish bin. 
 

How does it work?

Flies are attracted to the bait; they will land on the blacktop and crawl down the mesh cone, where they are contained and die. Stores up to 20,000 files with this non-toxic trap. Manufactured in UK.
